Our stay at the Bedford was wonderful. Our room was beautiful and it was a very relaxing stay. We were never in need or want for anything. Our breakfasts were sooo delicious and tea or coffee was at our fingertips anytime of the day. Rev. and his wife were very helpful giving us ideas of places to eat and places to go. Wonderful experience. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was wonderful. The host was very friendly and accomodating. The food was excellent. There even was a tv and dvd player in the room. Perfect location...walking distance to the center of town or the beach. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the "fireplace" in the room was a little cheesy. My husband and I stayed at the Bedford Inn for our 40th wedding anniversary. It is a beautiful Victorian Inn with wonderful period furnishings, good food, friendly owners and a quiet restful atmosphere. It is very close (one or two blocks) from the beach and several fine restaurants. We were so happy with our time there that we returned the next year. Every time my wife and I stay at the Bedford Inn, we know we are going to be treated like royalty! Archie, Stephanie and the whole staff are just tremendous people who go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. The inn itself if beautiful and I love the furnishings, but the real draw to the Bedford is the people who run it. Even the gourmet breakfasts and those incredible snacks they serve at breakfast are overshadowed by the high level of care taken by everyone at the Bedford. I feel like I'm visiting relatives when I stay at the Bedford, because they treat my wife and I like we're a part of their family. That means the world to us and we highly recommend!!!!!! ...
